Youth
Action For Change
We are looking for international ESL volunteers who will work with us
for a 3 to 6 month period at our centres in Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire
The volunteers will cover their travel expenses and medical insurance.
We will cover accommodation, food and stipend. French is not a requirement.
Free room available and cooking facilities, living allowance and a stipend
based on the number of students taught by the volunteer. Please visit

Youth
in the decision making process conference
Objectives
are: To promote youth participation in the community life; to support
youth involvement in democratic processes;
To develop the leaders vocation among youth. Programme
outline: Presentation
of real situations in which youth can be active in the decision-making
process:
Practical workshops about various forms of youth participation in decision-making:
Presentation of the main international regulations concerning young people.
Analyzing an electoral campaign (2008 is electoral year for Romania
and in
June 2008 will be local elections).The travel cost
will be repaid up to 70%. Only the participants who attend the entire seminar
can be reimbursed. Accommodation:
Board and lodging will be provided and paid by EuroDEMOS.

UNEP
Conference
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) will be organizing its Tunza
International Children's Conference on the Environment in Stavanger, Norway
from 17 to 21 June 2008. It will bring together 1,000 children aged 10 to
14 years,
to learn about the environment through plenary sessions, hands-on workshops
and field trips. The Conference will increase the children's understanding
of environmental
issues by providing them with a forum to share experiences and collectively
voice their concerns for the environment. The themes of the Conference include
Energy,
Bio-diversity, Resources and water. For further information on the conference,
